About Me

Preferred Pronouns: She/Her

While I have been practicing as a therapist since 2020, I have been drawn to and involved in the field of mental health for most of my life. Prior to joining Rapoport Psychological Services, I cultivated clinical experience working with adults in a day treatment setting, at a crisis walk-in for college students, with children and adolescents in emergency foster care, as well as young women coping with trauma in a residential setting.

My Purpose

I believe in each individual’s unique capacity for growth and healing, and seek to establish warm therapeutic relationships grounded in collaboration and empowerment. I find it important to acknowledge that healing is a journey tied to environmental, political, social, and economic factors, and believe it is my responsibility as a therapist to hold each client within the larger context of their lived experiences. I aim to approach each client with empathy and non-judgmental curiosity, to uncover the root of their challenges, and how to better fulfil their needs and reach their goals.

My Therapy Style

I incorporate elements of psychodynamic and attachment theory alongside interventions of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, I hold a certificate in Expressive Art Therapy and believe alternative modalities can give voice to internal experiences that otherwise might go unexpressed. I aim to blend therapeutic styles to provide customized treatment that work for each client's needs.

In My Free Time

I am trained as a Registered Yoga Instructor and find my practice to be a large part of my personal life, and feel it informs my therapeutic work in a more holistic way. Outside of the therapy room, I love exploring new restaurants, museums, and other things to do in the city!
