About Me

Preferred Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

I’m a New York therapist passionate about working with people to break out of cycles of shame, fear, and disconnection. I believe that with a realistic view of our needs, strengths, and weaknesses, we can effectively redesign how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Whether you have emotional, relational, professional, or academic concerns, we’ll work collaboratively to help you reach your goals.

My Purpose

I help clients release shame, reconnect with themselves, and practice self-compassion. I often work with overachievers, burnt out “former gifted children”, and women who value empowering those that they love (even if it means pouring from an empty cup). I want to help you discover your values, realistically assess your strengths and weaknesses, uncover patterns in past and current relationships, practice asserting your needs and communicating reasonable limits, and set goals with you to help you reconnect with living a fulfilling life.

My Therapy Style

As a therapist, I am a collaborator and an educator. I work to help my clients understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors through the lenses of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Feminism, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy. I am warm, direct, connected, and an active participant in our sessions.

In My Free Time

I relax by playing video games, sending memes to friends through discord, and daydreaming about my future vegetable garden. I enjoy being curious about new-to-me cultural traditions and learning about different perspectives on what it means to live a good life.
